Vivid Honors Harry Reems with Special Promotion

VIVID ENTERTAINMENT HONORS LEGENDARY HARRY REEMS WITH SPECIAL PROMOTION MARCH 27 THROUGH APRIL 3.

As a tribute to the legendary Harry Reems, the male lead in the landmark adult movie “Deep Throat,” Vivid Entertainment is giving its online customers a free download of “Throat: A Cautionary Tale,” the 2009 multi-award-winning Vivid feature that offers a whole new take on the porn classic.

Customers who visit vivid.com and purchase any Vivid video need only click on the “Throat” link at
the top of the home page to receive their free copy of the film that stars Sasha Grey and was directed by Paul Thomas. The offer is valid from Wednesday March 27th through Wednesday, April 3rd.

Jared Ruter of Adult Video News said in his review that “Throat: A Cautionary Tale,” is “porn noir, a dark mystery about innocence destroyed. Swiftly paced and engrossing, it plays like a mainstream movie. But it’s the star, Sasha Grey, who brings it to life.”

Throat: A Cautionary Tale,” was also the subject of a 6-part series on Showtime under the title “Deeper Throat.” The storyline tracked the trials and tribulations that Vivid founder/co-ceo Steven Hirsch went through when he tried to get permission to make the movie.

Reems, who co-starred with Linda Lovelace in the original “Deep Throat,” died last Tuesday at the age of 65.
